Jon Scott
Jon Scott is a retired Police Sergeant Detective specializing in homicides, burglary, larceny, fraud and sex crimes. He was dedicated to serving the community for over 30 years. He started his career in 1988 by joining the United States Marine Corps and commanding Marines in combat Operations as a Captain. Jon then joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a police officer in 1993. In 1997, Jon became a Police Detective, conducting countless interviews, interrogations and crime scene investigations. He spent the last 12 years of his career as a Homicide Detective Sergeant while working at LVMPD. His responsibilities during this assignment were the management and investigation of Homicides and Officer Involved Shootings. His key skills are:

Phil DePalma
Phil DePalma is a retired career law enforcement Officer with twenty-seven total years of distinguished service. During his years of service as a Police Officer, Phil gained valuable knowledge and experience conducting intense investigations involving:

- Sexual Assaults
- Robberies
- Violent Crimes
- Child and Elderly abuse cases
- Elder exploitations
- Narcotics cases
- Missing Persons
Phil also had extensive knowledge and experience working on internal theft/embezzlement cases while serving as an investigator at Harry Reid International Airport. Phil is well versed in undercover operations and an expert in surveillance, both stationary and mobile.
Phil DePalma spent a total of 6 years as a uniformed police officer and 21 years investigating crimes as a Detective in both persons and property crimes. Once promoted to Detective, Phil became extremely knowledgeable about crime scene investigations, search warrants, cell phone technology, social media investigations, interview/interrogation techniques, and courtroom preparation and testimony.
Phil completed his remaining four years of service working in the Homicide detail with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He was tasked with drafting search warrants, interviewing suspects and witnesses, responsible for documenting and analyzing crimes scenes, testifying in Grand Jury proceedings, Justice and District court hearings, as well as suppression hearings. Phil’s solve rate in homicide was documented among the best.
Since his separation from law enforcement, Phil DePalma along with his partner, Jon Scott founded DeScotta Consulting Group where they created an investigative group that can provide private investigative services to both private and professional institutions.
